Senior Associate, Operations

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Improve and execute monthly financial close and reporting process, including:
    • Prepare monthly invoices and reconcile billable expenses
    • Reconcile all balance sheet accounts
    • Reconcile cash and credit card accounts
    • Prepare financial statements and analyze for fluctuations
  • Manage Payroll and related payroll transactions
  • Organize, maintain, manage and update fixed assets ledger
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly board meeting packages
  • Assist with annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting
  • Maintain accounting procedures and policies
  • Develop and calculate KPIs and dashboards for reporting operating and financial metrics
  • Various other items as needed

Timing is immediate with market compensation.

Qualifications & Requirements:

We are looking for a motivated and talented individual who will want to grow with the company as the position has the potential to grow into a VP of Finance. Candidate should have undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or other related fields with an active CPA license. The candidate should have 4 - 6 years of prior work experience including both Public Accounting and industry experience within the accounting and finance department of a professional services organization. In addition:

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and Finance concepts
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and Intacct; familiarity with Tableau
  • Proactive, motivated and a self-starter with the ability to work in demanding environments
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to provide solution-based alternatives
  • Excellent written, presentation, leadership, and interpersonal communications skills
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills
  • Ability to function well in a team-oriented environment
